About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Supervising Social Worker (SSW) to join their fostering team. Based from the Newton Aycliffe office, you will manage a caseload across the North East, with a hybrid working model combining home, office and foster carer visits. What Youll Be Doing Managing a caseload of typically 1315 fostering families Providing reflective supervision, guidance and support to foster carers Undertaking professional assessments and identifying the needs of children and young people Promoting high standards of safeguarding and compliance Participating in an out-of-hours on-call rota to provide wrap-around support Contributing to the continued growth and development of the fostering service You will play a vital role in ensuring children and young people reach their full potential in safe, stable and nurturing foster homes.
