They have grown substantially over the last 10 years, reaching a turnover of £11m and employing over 65 fee earners. They are now a Top 200 UK Law firm with a strong business plan for further growth, aiming to double in size within the next five years.
The firm offers state-of-the-art systems, an open-door culture, first-class management, and a client base focused on quality rather than quantity. They are seeking a solicitor with broad Commercial Real Estate experience and a strong desire to be part of something exceptional.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a broad background in all aspects of landlord and tenant, acquisitions and disposals, overage and option agreements, and finance and lending.
This is an opportunity to work alongside an easy-going Partner and get involved in deals such as:
1. Assisting a leading regional university with dismantling a complex tax scheme involving an intricate property structure.
2. Acting for regional charities with commercial property and retail portfolios, including two hospices.
3. Advising on an overage provision for a technology park valued at over £20m.
4. Handling the sale of a residential development site marketed for over £2.5m.
5. Dealing with the purchase of a commercial site worth over £4m.
6. Representing the landlord in negotiating a lease for a commercial site of over 40,000 sq ft, with an annual rent of £285K.
