Hours: 12 hours per week. 2 hours daily, comprising 1.5 hours in the morning (8 AM to 9:30 AM) and 7 PM to 7:30 PM.
Hourly rate: Age-related NMW up to £12.15 per hour.
Holidays: 5.6 weeks per year (pro-rata).

A personal assistant is required to support a tetraplegic lady in her 60s with personal care. Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, light household duties, meal preparation, and occasional shopping. Full training will be provided for all tasks. Personal care will be single-handed.
The lady has a young outlook and enjoys activities such as days out, swimming, attending the gym, going to the cinema, theatre, and holidays.
Female PAs are preferred. Previous experience in a social care setting is advantageous.
There is a genuine occupational requirement for the holder of this post to be male or female, in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and the Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9 paragraphs 1–4.
