Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service (HIWFRS) seeks a professional and dedicated Hydrant Technician to support the Hydrants & Water Supplies function.
The postholder will inspect, test, maintain and repair fire hydrants to ensure operational readiness, working independently and with partner agencies. The role requires regular outdoor working in all weather conditions, accurate data recording, effective communication, and full compliance with health, safety and organisational procedures.
Applicants must be capable of undertaking physical tasks, maintaining vehicles and equipment to a high standard, and demonstrating reliability, professionalism and strong technical aptitude.
