A well-regarded private school in Coventry is seeking a dedicated Part-Time ICT and Media Studies Teacher to join their team from September 2025, covering a long-term staff absence. This is a 0.4 FTE role (2 days), with a timetable to be agreed, and will run on an ongoing basis. About the Role You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring ICT and Media Studies lessons to students across Key Stages 3–5. This position involves the full scope of teaching duties, including planning, marking, assessment, and contributing to departmental activities. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality lessons in ICT and Media Studies Plan and assess in line with curriculum expectations Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment Provide support and feedback to students to aid progression Contribute to the wider school community where appropriate The Ideal Candidate Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Proven experience teaching ICT and Media Studies at secondary level, including KS4 and KS5 Strong classroom management skills A passion for education and commitment to pupil progress Ability to work effectively as part of a team Requirements To be considered for the role - you will: A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) Specialism in ICT/Media Studies Proven experience teaching KS3 and KS4 ICT/Media Strong classroom management and a commitment to student progress Ability to adapt to different school settings and contribute positively to the school community Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
