As a key member of our Investigations Team, you will play a vital role in protecting residents and visitors from fraudulent and illegal practices. You’ll work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to investigate complaints, enforce legislation, and support honest businesses to thrive.

What we're looking for:
To be considered for this role, you must be a qualified and experienced Trading Standards professional with a strong background in investigations. You should have:
1. A sound knowledge of relevant legislation and current standards in Trading Standards.
2. Excellent investigative and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex caseloads.
3. Confidence to make difficult decisions and adapt to changing priorities.
4. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
5. A collaborative approach and a commitment to supporting colleagues and service objectives.
