The shift pattern for this position is 2 days per week, 9am - 5pm. (Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part-time hours.)
South Community Mental Health Service has an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist with mental health experience. This is a part-time, permanent Band 6 position within an Adult Community Mental Health Team. Responsibilities include mental health/occupational therapy assessments and treatments for individuals and groups residing in the south side of Glasgow. Knowledge and experience in caring for and treating adults with mental health difficulties, including appropriate interventions, are required.
Essential Experience and Skills
* Working in a mental health context
* Confidence in core occupational therapy skills with effective verbal and written communication skills
You will receive operational and professional support and supervision from the lead occupational therapist and will have access to training for your professional development. A Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy with current HCPC registration is essential. The role requires PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland Check. A driving license is desirable.
