About the Role:
As a Mental Health Crisis Worker, you will be a vital part of the Crisis Service, providing essential support to individuals in need. You will work alongside partner organisations within the Bristol Mental Health Partnership, delivering crisis intervention services across the city.
This role is based in a 24-hour crisis hub, offering tailored support to individuals in distress. Your focus will be on delivering practical interventions that address health, social care, and overall wellbeing, helping to reduce crises, build resilience, and improve lives.
What We're Looking For:
Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs or those facing complex challenges such as homelessness, substance misuse, long-term conditions, domestic abuse, or sexual violence .
Ability to carry out support planning and risk assessments effectively.
A compassionate and optimistic approach, with a strong belief in recovery.
Strong time management and documentation skills, ensuring accurate record-keeping in line with policies and procedures.
A full UK driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle are essential for this role.
