Detailed job description and main responsibilities The post holder will provide a full range of secretarial and administrative support to the Trauma and Orthopaedic Department, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations. Duties include typing clinical correspondence, managing diaries, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate patient records. You will act as the first point of contact for Consultants and their teams, handle telephone queries, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders. The role also involves supporting clinic changes, processing documentation promptly, and ensuring confidentiality in all aspects of work. Flexibility to provide cover for colleagues and participate in training is essential.
