Qualification
* Current registration with relevant professional body
* English at GCSE grade C or Functional Skill Level 2 & Maths at GCSE grade C or Functional Skill Level 2
* Recognised mentoring qualification or equivalent experience
* Expectation to undertake Enhanced Practice qualification or equivalent
* Demonstrates evidence of ongoing continuous professional development
* Diploma level training or equivalent in specialist area
Experience
* Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of best practice, particularly within the specialty area and its application in practice
* Experience of managing change as part of service and practice development
* Ability to apply research-based practice and advocate for it to improve patient clinical assessment and management
* Experience of supervising, teaching, mentoring, and developing staff
* Experience of implementing, commenting on, and proposing changes to policies and protocols
* Ability to deliver training and education to patients
* Ability to work independently within role boundaries
