Principal Delivery Lead, Distribution Technology Design
As a Principal Delivery Lead, Distribution Technology Design, you will be responsible for contributing to a distribution solution design centre of excellence at Bricz. You will bring exceptional business acumen to deliver solutions that translate to business results for our clients. Simultaneously, you will build a repeatable methodology for technology strategy and supply chain technology enablement that places an emphasis on tangible/measurable results. Additionally, you will be tasked with building and growing a team of solution design experts for distribution technology
Responsibilities
* Lead Project Management engagements on Digital transformation and automation consultancy projects
* Lead the software selection, solution design and implementation design of complex supply chain solutions for leading retailers and e-commerce companies using Manhattan Associates' WMOS solution, Koerber WMS, or Blue Yonder
* Lead and direct teams of consultants on distribution software selection and Implementation projects
* Lead and conduct business requirements gathering sessions, including but not limited to technology requirements, warehouse operations processes, MHE/Automation/Robotics requirements, and integration requirements
* Lead WMS design sessions, bringing the ability to translate customer requirements into specific WMS solutions using base functionality and custom development by the vendor where necessary
* Create exceptional design deliverable documents such as Business Requirements Document, Process Flows in Visio, Custom Enhancement Documentation, Interface Mapping documents, etc.
* Build and document solution architecture to include client organizational capability, end to end data flows and system integration to help realize client value
* Lead WMS delivery to ensure quality of deliverables by implementation team as well as ensuring we are on timeline and on budget
* Identify key performance areas to track and measure output and ROI of projects
* Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for multiple simultaneous WMS projects – you will be the person the internal team looks to for direction, decisions, and best practices
* Work with the Business Development team to define project scope, schedule, and deliverables for new distribution process and technology opportunities
* Work with Strategic Alliances team to find and vet potential WMS partners to grow our practice – we are looking for someone who desires to grow the WMS practice to include new WMS vendors and opportunities
* Serve as people manager for group of team members in the WMS practice – you are responsible for conducting bi-weekly 1:1 meeting, executing quarterly and yearly performance reviews, goal setting, retaining talent, and ensuring our team members are growing
Qualifications
* 6+ years of DC Consulting, Technology Design experience for omni-channel and distribution management applications (WMS, LMS, OMS)
* Integration design services for WMS integration with OMS, TMS, or ERP systems.
* Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high visible environment with multiple, competing priorities
* Experience with newest version of respective software a plus (MANH Active WM, Koerber v13.X, etc.)
* Experience with various integration frameworks a plus (Boomi, Mulesoft, Manhattan Integration Framework, etc.)
* Experience with multiple MHE/WCS/Automation/Robotics vendors integrating with WMS (Locus, Honeywell, Dematic, Fetch, 6RS, SDI, etc.)
* Experience with parcel provider integration (both direct with parcel providers or with multi carrier solutions like Logistyx, ProShip, etc.)
* At least 4 years of hands-on experience implementing Manhattan Associates, Koerber, or Blue Yonder warehouse management solutions
* Ability to travel for solution design phase of project engagements
* Leadership and communication experience with C- level leaders
* Advanced ability to organize
* Tact and good judgment in confidential situations, and proven experience interacting with senior management
* Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
