SIS Care have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Support Worker to join our team. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £27,690 per annum. The role of Senior Support Worker As part of the role, you will assist with the management of a team of support workers alongside the Service manager and deputy manager. Ensuring adequate staffing levels are in place for the needs of the people we support. You will also demonstrate leadership on a day-to-day basis to the care staff within Solutions in Service (SIS) Essential skills To ensure all staff contribute to the efficient running of the service. Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals we support Ability to induct and orientate new employees to the job role and service Communicate any problems, concerns or changes to the families of the people we support as and when needed. Organise and conduct supervision and appraisals for support workers in line with CQC requirements. There is also a bus stop a few houses down from the service. Heaton Chapel train station is only an 8minute walk from Heaton Lodge service. What we are looking for Level 3 health & social care qualification or willingness to work towards. Experience of caring for adults with mental health needs and challenging behaviours.
