Recruit A Driver are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Category C) HIAB Driver to support a well-established builders merchant based in Dewsbury. This role provides ad-hoc cover for holiday and sickness, making it ideal for drivers looking for flexible work.
You will be delivering building materials using a class 2 vehicle with HIAB offload only, meaning there is no manual handling required. Deliveries are local across West Yorkshire within a well-organised and supportive fleet operation.
The Role
* Driving a Class 2 vehicle
* Delivering timber, blocks, plaster, bulk bags and palletised goods
* HIAB offload only no handball
* Local delivery routes across West Yorkshire
* Up to 15 drops per shift, planned across 3 delivery runs
* Providing ad-hoc cover for holidays and sickness

* Start times between 06:30 07:00
* Physically lighter work compared to standard multi-drop
* Well-structured routes
* Supportive on-site transport team
Requirements
* Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
* HIAB certificate (remote, hook or grab experience preferred)
* Confident and professional when dealing with customers
* Moffett licence beneficial but not essential
* Reliable and safety-focused approach
