We are currently recruiting for a Casual Chef to join our team at one of our conference venues in Oxford city centre, OX1 3RG.
Please note that this is a zero-hour contract. This busy venue operates 7 days a week between 6am and midnight. You will work on a rota basis, as per the business needs.

We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout.
Catering for up to 200 guests daily, you will assist in delivering exceptional service across breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as hospitality events including fine dining, BBQs, weddings, and canapé receptions. You should be comfortable preparing a variety of cuisines and be up to date with current food trends, such as bowl and street food. All dishes are cooked from scratch using the freshest ingredients, giving you the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Have experience working in a similar role and environment
2. Be highly organised and comfortable working in a high-pressured environment
3. Ensure you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
4. Keep up standards of hygiene and ensure all areas are clean and tidy
5. Have excellent customer service and social skills
6. Be responsible for the preparation and serving of food to staff
7. Have a can do attitude and will work well as part of a team of 12
8. Be customer focused
9. Be willing to participate and enjoy working part of the team
