Job Title: PE Coach / Sports Coach | KS1 | Early Years | Potenial Earnings £750.00 a week
Location: Davenham Primary, CW9 8JW
Hours: 12:30PM – 3:30PM, Tuesday one week then Wednesday the next over 38 weeks
Additional Hours: Available across after school clubs, other school PE sessions, and holiday camps
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed PE / Sports Coach to deliver high-quality physical education sessions at Davenham Primary. This is a part-time role with the opportunity to expand into additional hours, including after school clubs and holiday camps.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging PE and sports lessons that promote teamwork, fitness, and skill development.
* Support children of all abilities to participate, achieve, and enjoy physical activity.
* Deliver a range of sports and activities that align with the National Curriculum.
* Lead after school clubs and enrichment sessions to inspire participation beyond the classroom.
* Ensure all activities are safe, inclusive, and compliant with safeguarding and health & safety policies.
* Work collaboratively with school staff to enhance the overall PE and sports provision.
About You
* A recognised sports coaching qualification (Level 2+ preferred).
* Experience working with children in schools or community sport.
* Passionate about sport and inspiring children to enjoy physical activity.
* Good knowledge of health and safety and safeguarding practices.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
