Mencap is recruiting Support Workers in Bury St Edmunds! We offer both full-time and part-time permanent positions, along with relief/bank contracts.
We provide excellent benefits and award-winning training to support your success in this role.
Our rotas are prepared at least 4 weeks in advance, allowing you to plan your personal and social life effectively.
Your scheduled shifts typically fall between 7am and 10pm. Additionally, sleep-in shifts are available, for which you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £62.45.
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities to live their best lives and enjoy life to the fullest.
What We're Looking For
1. A genuine passion for supporting others.
2. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
3. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
4. A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
5. All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
