Site Surveyor and Estimator
We are looking to create a new multiskilled role within Stuart Canvas Group. The role requires an individual who will travel across the UK to survey a wide range of sites – professional sports grounds, quarries, industrial warehouses, aggregate mines, ports and concrete curing plants – to measure and develop design solutions.
About the role
The successful candidate will use their creativity to produce new designs and deliver CAD drawings to the design team, estimate bill of materials, and coordinate with sales and installation teams.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Measure relevant product dimensions at each site.
* CAD design in Rhino – 2D and 3D.
* Use CorelDRAW for production details.
* Estimate job costs using existing pricing structures.
* Collaborate closely with the design, sales and admin teams.
* Coordinate with installation teams to ensure smooth job execution.
Experience
* Minimum 2 years of site surveying and CAD drawing experience in a commercial environment.
* Proven record of diligence and keen eye for detail.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in technical commercial drawings using CAD.
Skills & Qualifications
* Degree educated.
* Proficient in Rhino (2D and 3D).
* Proficient in laser measuring equipment.
* Meticulous, highly organised and good with numbers.
* Practical thinker with a hands‑on approach.
* Full UK driving licence.
