Health Care Assistants required for small 17 bed Care home.
The Care home is located in Bideford.
Enhanced pay opportunities available for overtime and Bank holidays worked
Training is preferred but not a must have but you will be required to complete a Care Certificate which will be paid for by the company.
Job role requires candidate to work every other weekend.
Shift Patterns available : 8am - 2pm, 2pm - 8 pm, 8am-8pm
Responsibilities
* Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility support.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
* Basic IT skills to manage schedules and documentation efficiently.
Summary
As a Care Assistant, you will be essential in providing compassionate support to individuals in the care home. Reporting to the Care Manager, your role involves assisting with daily living activities, implementing care plans, and ensuring the well-being of clients. Your core skills in communication will facilitate effective interactions with clients and team members.
