We are thrilled to be looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our incredible client who are going through an exciting period of growth.
Your Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid bookkeeping or finance administration experience who is looking to work in a supportive, friendly, and professional environment.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth processing of supplier invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the finance team with general administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
* Accurately process supplier invoices, credit notes
* Monitor main Finance email box and distribute
* Prepare and schedule payment runs
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
* Maintain vendor records and ensure data accuracy
* Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers regarding invoice or payment queries
* Assist with month-end processes and reporting as required
* Purchase order requisitions coding
Requirements
* Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role
* Good understanding of basic accounting principles
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills
* Comfortable working with Sage Intacct, YOOZ and Microsoft Excel
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Desirable (but not essential)
* Experience with Sage Intacct, YOOZ
* Basic knowledge of VAT or tax processes
