Job Description
CMC have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager (HV/EHV)
The role involves managing pre-construction and construction activities-from design through to energisation-for large-scale high-voltage infrastructure and grid-connection projects, typically between 33kV and 400kV.
May include feasibility studies, detailed design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning for new or existing substations and related infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop HV projects (up to and including 20kV) from initial functional requirements into compliant, cost-effective engineering solutions.
* Manage the development and delivery of small to medium HV projects (cable, plant and civil) to meet time, cost, safety and quality targets.
* Work closely with clients and internal/external stakeholders to progress and deliver HV projects.
* Act as CDM Designer and/or Principal Designer for assigned HV projects.
* Communicate effectively with internal engineering and project delivery teams.
* Coordinate external service providers and support commercial administration.
