TThe Integrated Care Partnership is a large GP practice and astandalone Primary Care Network (PCN). With a Patient population of 32,000, thePractice is ideally placed to benefit from the unique position of being asingle Practice PCN.

We are looking for someone to help provide an efficientservice to patients presenting to, electronically requesting or telephoning thepractice


Main duties of the job

Typing letters, reports and associated documentation asrequired

Liaising with external agencies such as hospitals andcommunity services, ensuring referrals are processed efficiently

Managing all enquiries in an effective manner

Maintaining an accurate referrals database

Action all incoming email

Processing calling letters as requested

Scanning of patient related documentation and attachingscanned documents to patients healthcare records

Inputting data into the patients healthcare records asnecessary

Processing referrals using the electronic referral system(ERS)

Processing requests for information i.e., SAR,insurance/solicitors letters and DVLA forms

Clinically coding data on EMIS

Answering incoming phone calls, transferring calls ordealing with the callers request appropriately

Managing all administrative queries as necessary

Carrying out system searches as requested

Maintaining a clean, tidy, effective working area at alltimes

Supporting all clinical staff with general administrativetasks as requested

The Practice is based over four sites. The Old CottageHospital, Epsom, Fitznells Manor Surgery, Ewell Village, Cox Lane Surgery (nearChessington) and Stoneleigh Medical Centre Stoneleigh.

Person Specification


Qualifications

* Pitman Training


Experience

* Pitman training
* Secretarial typing experience


Person specification

* Good day-to-day usage of IT Skills MS Word, MS Excel
* Typing rate of 40+ WPM
* Good organisational skills:
* Time Management
* Prioritisation
* Problem / solution orientated
* Warm and friendly telephone manner Outbound and Inbound calls
* Very high level of grammar and spelling
* Attention to detail in all aspects of work
* Ability to multi-task, and complete the tasks, not leaving them unfinished
* Ability to work to deadlines, highlighting to Line Manager ahead of deadline if unable to complete the task in time
* Knowledge of local health services / providers
* Local knowledge of Epsom and surrounding areas
* Interested in the medical industry
