Job Summary
We are looking for a Recovery Practitioner specialising in Safeguarding for our Cheltenham Service. This role will manage a caseload of safeguarding clients, provide information relevant to treatment, and offer a range of interventions such as harm reduction, brief interventions and assessment. The position requires active coordination in a multi‑agency approach, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and adherence to Via policies and safeguarding principles.

Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of safeguarding clients.
* Provide information relevant to treatment for clients and stakeholders.
* Deliver interventions such as harm reduction, brief interventions and assessment where required.
* Coordinate and participate in a multi‑agency approach, liaising with partner agencies and safeguarding professionals.
* Collaborate with colleagues and key stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring adherence to Via policies and safeguarding principles.
* Prescribe and provide a good quality of interventions at varying stages of recovery.
* Develop and deliver a wide range of groups.
* Support other areas of service delivery and take part in special interests and activities, including smoking cessation and local events.
Qualifications & Experience
In-depth knowledge and experience of challenges affecting people with substance use and related health and wellbeing issues; compassionate, good communication skills; ability to stay calm under pressure; excellent listening skills; curiosity; desire to make a difference.
