I am looking for a friendly, reliable Female Support Worker to work with my 11 year old daughter in the community and at home.
She has learning disabilities and is non-verbal but able to communicate her needs. She also has epilepsy.
She is smiley, giggly and full of energy, loves being outdoors, going to playgrounds, climbing and swimming. Playing board games at home with her may also be required on occasions.
Support with toileting, changing her clothes and administering epilepsy medication in an emergency will be needed.
You should be experienced, a driver with your own car and a non-smoker due to health needs. Taking her out on public transport may be required too.
This would be a lovely role for the right person.
Duties include:
- Medication prompting/administering
- Transportation
- Companionship
- Dressing / undressing
- Changing pull ups/toileting
