SEN Teacher – Resource Provision (Primary) Location: Bexleyheath, London Borough of Bexley Start Date: ASAP or January 2026 Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term (with potential for permanent placement) Pay: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Bexleyheath, supporting pupils within a well-resourced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Provision. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or aspiring SEN specialist who is committed to helping children with additional needs thrive both academically and personally. You will be working closely with a supportive team of Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and therapists to create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment. The provision caters for pupils with a range of needs, including ASD, communication and interaction difficulties, and moderate learning needs. Key Responsibilities Deliver tailored, engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of pupils within the provision. Plan and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO and wider team. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture where every pupil feels valued and supported. Liaise effectively with parents, carers, and external professionals. Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies. Requirements ✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent) ✅ Experience working with children with SEN (particularly ASD or MLD) ✅ Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and behaviour support strategies ✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills ✅ A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach Why Join This School?
