Position: Account Manager

Role Description
A proactive and detail‑driven Account Manager to join a busy fire protection and general building works environment. The role involves maintaining strong client relationships, supporting ongoing projects, ensuring compliance, and working with operational and technical teams to ensure works are completed in line with current legislation.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate as the lead point of contact for your portfolio of clients.
* Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting customer relationships.
* Hold regular reviews with clients in accordance with the Account Management Procedure.
* Ensure the timely and successful delivery of projects according to customer needs and objectives and the current legislation.
* Liaise with in‑house and external technical and operational teams to ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget and to the correct standards.
* Provide feedback to technical teams based on clients’ needs, aiding the continuous improvement of the solutions offered.
* Help to drive growth of the sales pipeline.
Requirements
* Previous experience in account management, or a similar role – experience within construction, fire protection, or building services is advantageous.
* Solid understanding of project processes and general contractor principles.
* Excellent organisational skills and a strong attention to detail.
* Confident communicator able to work effectively with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
* Knowledge of fire protection and construction‑related documentation such as purchase orders, reporting, compliance documentation etc. is desirable.
* A proactive, problem‑solving mindset with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement and growth.
