Octavia House Schools have been leading the way in therapeutic education since 2012. Our schools in London and Essex are both judged to be 'outstanding' in all areas by Ofsted.
We have a unique & exciting opportunity for Unqualified Teachers to make a genuine difference in our pupils' lives at our trauma-centred therapeutic secondary school (KS3-4) in South Woodham, Essex.
We welcome applications from ambitious Graduates from a range of disciplines and specialisms who are seeking to achieve their Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through the Assessment Only (AO) route. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and motivated professional who possess a passion for their subject and the ability to enthuse and engage students.
You’ll join a passionate team delivering a high-quality therapeutic model of education, supporting and building relationships with pupils who have ACEs and complex SEMH needs, as well as other associated SEND.
Although we are a specialist setting, we proactively welcome enquiries from experienced mainstream colleagues, who would like to extend their skill base.
