The Role The role of Project Manager, reports to the Technical Director and is responsible for the delivery and management of key infrastructure, management of consultants and the site technical team, working closely with the site construction team to deliver key stages of build, and infrastructure. Principal accountabilities of the Project Manager’s role include: Arrange and chair project and key stakeholder meetings. Maintain infrastructure programme and off-site programme. Appoint and manage key consultants, ensuring flow of information Producing & maintaining project programme, updating key stakeholders throughout. Scrutiny of designs Charing Design Team Meetings and consortium Meetings, including distribution of minutes and maintain QA procedures. Reviewing agreements, specifications and managing change throughout project delivery Ensuring delivery in accordance with key objectives and project milestones Oversee infrastructure delivery, including roads and sewers, utilities, earthworks. Monitoring Planning conditions Interface with Local authority representatives, councillors and key stakeholders Co-ordinating key infrastructure delivery including off-site highways works, earthworks, utilities delivery, Part L delivery, foundation and road delivery. Experience, Qualifications and Skills Experience of effectively managing teams Up to date knowledge of health and safety and building legislation. Housebuilding Experience is essential Qualifications and Training GCSE Maths and English – Grade C or above (or equivalent) Valid CSCS card Construction Management – HNC Level 4, HND Level 5 or NVQ Level 6 is desirable Skills and Aptitude Effective communication and listening skills Good administration skills Works effectively to deadlines and competently works on multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work on own as well as part of a team Proficient IT skills along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) Committed to diversity and inclusion Pro-Active approach to management and problem solving. The Role and Working Conditions Ability to travel to development sites, including the divisional office. Site and office based role Assisting on other projects where required.
