for an experienced administrator to interact with a variety of stakeholders and provide high quality administration support for clinical skills and simulation-based education across the University’s healthcare disciplines.The College of Health and Science draws together a wide range of healthcare disciplines including Nursing, Midwifery, Social Care, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Medicine, Physician Associate, Diagnostic Radiography, Dietetics. The University is expanding its facilities and sites, with the continued development of our new Health and Wellbeing Severn Campus. Our mission is to enhance clinical skills and simulation-based education to improve patient outcomes by providing high-quality, authentic learning experiences.
By working collaboratively, our dedicated Skills and Simulation Team provides an efficient technician and administrative service for academic colleagues, external stakeholders and students. The successful candidate will be part of the Team and play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Department to ensure the efficient delivery of essential administrative and financial processes, which enables the effective delivery of clinical skills and simulation-based education activity across the College. The role holder will embrace continuous improvement and seek to implement the most modern and effective approaches to a range of evolving business needs.
This is a dynamic and flexible role, which requires a positive and proactive approach, effective co-ordination skills and excellent time management abilities to ensure tasks are completed to deadline. The successful candidate will have initiative, strong interpersonal skills and a professional approach to be able to manage a diverse workload.
