Digital Marketing Executive – Paid Search & Social Media


Hybrid – preferably East Midlands based (1 day per week at our Nottingham office)


Salary of £26,000, pension, life assurance, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), exclusive company discounts on used car purchases, leasing deals and aftersales services

Reporting to the Paid & Social Media Manager, the Digital Marketing Executive (Paid Search & Social Media) plays a fundamental role with the activation of our digital paid media campaigns and supporting the growth of our group social media channels.

Working alongside numerous stakeholders you’ll support all our consumer facing brands including Stratstone, Evans Halshaw, Quickco and Driveway Vehicle Solutions.

Working hand in hand with our agency partner and supporting our divisional marketing teams, you’ll be the key liaison to help maximise the business return on our paid digital marketing activity, across new car, used car, stock acquisition, aftersales and fleet.

You will also work closely with the Manager to assist with content curation, scheduling, dealer engagement and reporting across our channels.


Your Journey as a Digital Marketing Executive:

* Day to day paid search & social media agency management, including co-ordination of required assets and ensuring SLAs are adhered to.
* Building strong relationships and commercial understanding across the Divisional Marketing teams to effectively communicate business requirements and priorities to our agency partners.
* Understanding paid media campaign types and use cases, including but not limited to Google search, Performance Max, Demand Generation and Paid Social ads
* Attending weekly and quarterly business review meetings with agency partners and following up with necessary actions.
* Effective use of Social Media management platforms to help schedule posts, track performance and maintain active users.
* Day to day supporting the Social Media Manager where necessary.
* Analysing the performance of paid and social media by delving into reports and assessing creative effectiveness to make recommendations to increase returns and grow our brands.
* Providing recommendations to Divisional Marketing teams based on analysis and creation of brand reports assessing effectiveness of paid and social media.
* Working with our Website & E-Commerce team to optimize user journeys and conversion for paid media.
* Developing ways of working to improve message targeting, briefing processes and creative effectiveness of our campaigns and social media content.
* Quality assurance – checking content, links and use of AI for accuracy and FCA compliance across our campaigns and social media channels.
* Helping to evolve our social playbook and understanding policies to ensure governance of our social media channels.
* Conducting research and staying abreast of new developments across paid and social media, both within and outside the automotive sector.


Are You Ready to Embrace the Challenge? We’re looking for someone who has:

* Ideally a recent Graduate with a Business/Marketing/Digital degree level or at least 1 year experience.
* Sound understanding of paid media- in particular focus on Google and Meta as a minimum.
* Highly collaborative, you must be a strong communicator and able to work effectively with others, and to build productive, collaborative relationships across departments and with third parties.
* A passion for all things digital. A strong desire to learn, create, contribute & innovate.
* Highly organised, with an ability to work to deadlines, and to plan and prioritise short and long-term tasks effectively.
* Comfortable in interpreting and analysing data
* An eye for detail and an unrelenting desire for quality; for example, when reviewing advert and social media content.
