Our client, a leading real estate business, is seeking a proactive and professional Assistant Building Manager to support the management of a prestigious commercial building in central London. Overview The successful candidate will support the Building Manager in overseeing day-to-day property operations, serving as the primary contact for occupiers and service partners on all property-related matters. This role requires excellent administrative and communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a commitment to high service standards. Key Responsibilities Act as a key liaison for occupiers and service providers, ensuring consistent, high-quality customer service. Maintain up-to-date property records, databases, and compliance documentation. Assist in implementing policies, procedures, and ESG initiatives across the estate. Support with finance processes, including raising purchase orders and invoice tracking. Take responsibility for coordinating meetings, managing action points, and providing accurate documentation. Monitor contractor performance, support permit-to-work processes, and oversee compliance tracking. Assist in managing the service charge budget and ensuring occupier obligations are clearly communicated. Promote and uphold the client’s vision and values in all aspects of service delivery. Skills & Experience Experience in commercial property management and customer service. Understanding of service charge budgeting and RICS professional standards. Familiarity with contractor and permit-to-work processes. Knowledge of sustainability and ESG principles in a property context. Strong administrative and IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office 365. Professional communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
