Contract: 35 hours per week plus sleep-in shifts
Salary: Basic salary of £22,367.80, with potential earnings up to £27,983.80 including sleep-in shifts

Are you a committed and enthusiastic individual looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? LCS is seeking passionate Residential Childcare Support Workers to join our team! You will work full-time, 35 hours a week, plus 2 sleep-ins, with opportunities for additional hours.
Your role will involve working on a rota basis, which may include evenings and weekends. Flexibility in your availability is essential!

Your Role
As a Support Worker, you will engage, motivate, and encourage young people in their individual flats or shared houses. Your responsibility is to ensure a safe, welcoming, and healthy environment for the young people in your care.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
* Providing practical support and guidance in line with individual care plans to help young people develop essential life skills and achieve educational goals.
* Building positive relationships with young people, staff, and professionals through effective communication.
* Supporting young people in Education, Employment, and Training, documenting their progress and submitting evidence to instructors.
* Maintaining community links, such as educational provisions, sports centers, and youth clubs.
What We’re Looking For
All applicants must have:
* Flexibility for shift work, including sleep-in nights, evenings, and weekends.
* A Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma, Children and Young People's Workforce, NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or a willingness to pursue this qualification.
* Experience with attachment and trauma is desirable.
* Experience with challenging behavior and/or mental health issues is desirable.
* An understanding of the challenges faced by young people in care.
* A full driving license and access to a vehicle is desirable, although good public transport links are available.
* Intermediate computer skills.
