Occupational Health Advisor – Heathrow
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Location: Heathrow (hybrid working)
Hours: Full time, 8:00am–4:00pm
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a supportive, forward thinking occupational health service based near Heathrow Airport. Working as part of a close knit multidisciplinary team, the Occupational Health Advisor will play a key role in delivering high quality, evidence based occupational health services. The position offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to build strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
The Role
The successful candidate will deliver expert case management services, providing clear, balanced advice on attendance, fitness for work and workplace health concerns. They will produce high quality written reports to support informed management decisions and offer guidance on occupational health legislation and best practice. Maintaining professional standards, continuing professional development and adherence to NMC requirements will be central to the role.
This is a hybrid position, with four days per week based in a modern, well-equipped office, and one day working from home. The role offers structured working hours, supporting a healthy work life balance.
The Team and Environment
You will join a dedicated team of 11 professionals, including Consultant Occupational Health Physicians, Physiotherapists, Occupational Health Advisors, Nurses, Technicians and a Reception team. What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and a postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health (degree or diploma), or actively working towards one. A minimum of one year’s experience in occupational health case management is essential.
They will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong time management and attention to detail, and a clear understanding of professional boundaries and escalation processes. Confidence using IT systems, a thorough knowledge of data protection and confidentiality, and a flexible, proactive approach to work are all key to success in this role.
