Assystem is growing fast - and our stress and structural integrity capability is growing with it. We're looking for a Senior/Principal Stress Engineer who is ready to take the next step into a technical and capability leadership role, helping to strengthen, grow and develop our UK stress engineering community.
This is a hybrid role: you'll deliver high-value technical work for clients while also shaping the direction, tools, talent and strategy of our stress capability.
What You’ll Do:
* Lead complex stress and structural integrity assessments using FEA and hand calculations
* Review and approve technical work, representing Assystem confidently with clients
* Mentor and develop engineers, building future stress specialists
* Drive capability growth - training, methods, best practices, recruitment and retention
* Support bids and business development, working closely with Engineering Directors and Sales
