I am excited to partner with a leading brand who have a vacancy for a Shift Maintenance Engineer in their beautiful rural location of Bala, Gwynedd. The successful Shift Maintenance Engineer will work as part of a team and will be responsible for all planned and reactive maintenance on site. Shift Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities: Carry out the planned preventative maintenance of the engineering plant, machinery and building. Attend breakdowns and carry out fault finding and diagnostics ensuring equipment is in working order. Carry out repairs to plant and equipment during production, machines include conveyors, mixers and depositors. Conduct improvement work on the machinery and site. Shift Maintenance Engineer Requirements: Hold Level 3 qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering. Ideally you will hold 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. IT literate with knowledge of MS Office and maintenance management systems. Ability to understand mechanical and electrical engineering diagrams. Team player with the ability to work independently. Shift Maintenance Engineer Benefits: The salary is £46,000 per annum. Rotational 8-week shift pattern consisting of days and nights, 4 on 4 off. Overtime payable. 24 days holiday per annum.
