Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design and implementation of a wide range of projects, from large‑scale play investment to public realm improvement, new schools, parks masterplans and housing regeneration schemes.
* Lead project teams from concept to delivery and see designs implemented on the ground.
* Manage contract delivery and client interactions under JCLI, JCT and NEC contracts.
* Collaborate within the council’s long‑standing Landscape Design Team in a multi‑disciplinary environment.
* Provide technical and design leadership to support the delivery of the council’s major regeneration and environmental improvement programmes.
* Travel around the borough on a weekly basis, with an appropriate allowance provided.
Qualifications & Experience
* Landscape Institute accredited qualification.
* Current Chartered Landscape Institute member or working towards membership.
* Experience in a landscape or multi‑disciplinary practice with a proven track record of leading projects.
* Strong communication, design, graphic presentation and CAD skills.
* Experience with JCLI, JCT and NEC contracts is desirable.
