The role sits at the heart of the company, working with the Operations team to ensure the right solution is delivered to the right person at the right time, keeping customers fully updated and encouraging referrals to colleagues.
The role is office-based at our UK Headquarters in Bracknell and involves activities across customer and supplier-facing operations and back-office support, with a focus on the Order to Cash process for new orders and contract renewals, shipping management, stock and loan management, inbound/outbound shipping, export documentation, courier coordination, cost sourcing for renewals, and office procurement. The candidate will report to the Head of Operations, with support from a Senior Operations Assistant and in collaboration with another Operations Assistant.
This role also involves identifying opportunities for business process improvements and executing these with the wider team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Sales Order Management – processing orders and communicating with customers and suppliers.
* New orders and contract renewals, including cost sourcing from suppliers.
* Shipping Management – liaising with couriers, receiving deliveries, notifying the team of stock movements, packing for shipping, and raising shipping documentation (customs clearances, invoices, export documentation).
* Stock/Demo/SLA Management – stock takes, stock location, loan agreements, loan stock system, purchasing and inventory of consumables, disposal of obsolete inventory (including WEEE compliance). RMA Management.
* Processing returns of faulty or repaired items and updating internal systems.
* Office Administration/Procurement – internal/external events logistics, office management, and ad-hoc tasks for Head of Operations or Senior Operations Assistant.
* Business Process/System Improvement – assisting Head of Operations to identify improvements and implement action plans.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with contract/workflow management systems.
* Highly customer-focused and relationship-driven.
Skills

* Experience in sales order processing
* Professional telephone manner

* Ability to plan and organise own workload
* Proficient in Excel
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Experience using data entry systems and ERP systems
* UK driving license is desirable
