The Role:We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Residential Property Fee Earner to lead by example within a high-performing conveyancing team. You will manage your own caseload while also taking an active role in mentoring junior colleagues, contributing to team performance and quality assurance. Key Responsibilities:
* Handle a broad range of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to post-completion, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, lease extensions, and transfers of equity.
* Supervise and support junior fee earners and assistants, offering guidance on complex matters and day-to-day queries.
* Review titles, draft legal documents, and ensure all work meets internal and regulatory standards.
* Provide high-quality, client-focused advice and build strong relationships through regular contact and clear communication.
* Play a role in process improvement, risk management, and the overall operational efficiency of the department.
* Act as a point of escalation for challenging cases and support team members in resolving issues quickly and professionally.
About You:
* A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with a minimum of 5 years' PQE in residential property.
* Confident managing a diverse and busy caseload with minimal supervision.
* Prior experience in a leadership, supervisory, or mentoring capacity.
* Strong technical knowledge of the conveyancing process and attention to detail.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* A proactive and collaborative approach to client service and team development.
* Experience with case management systems (desirable).
