A fantastic opportunity for a Chef de Parties to learn new skills and progress to rosette standard of cooking if they want to. There are a number of chef de partie positions available at a renowned small town hotel which has a great reputation for offering its guests high quality dining. The hotels fine dining restaurant serves modern British, seasonal dishes from the ‘a la carte menu prepared to two AA Rosette standard and pushing for 3 Rosettes. There is also a separate less formal restaurant that serves fresh food dishes throughout the day, and a further bar snack menu consisting of simpler dishes. In these roles of Chef de Parties you will be joining a team of 12 chefs working in the kitchen and will have an opportunity if you don’t have fine dining background to learn the skills to progress to cooking for the a la carte restaurant.
Requirements:
Chef de parties who have recently been working in Rosette standard venues for a minimum of 2 years is required for the fine dining restaurant.
Chef de parties that have proven experience working in fresh food establishments, who have good all round skills and can work on any section in the kitchen.
The hotel is very busy during holiday periods so it is essential that all chefs applying are able to worked in a fast paced kitchen.
