Job Title: Senior Garment Technologist
* Prime working location: Suite 1, Blandel Bridge House, 56 Sloane Square, London, SW1W 8AX (hybrid working will be considered)
* Flexible to work in the Head Office, Access 12, Station Road, Theale, Berkshire
* Position: 37.5 hours a week

The Brand:
Really Wild is a premium heritage brand going through an exciting period of growth and looking to grow their garment technology /product development team.
We are looking for a Garment Technologist to be a part of a small friendly team to work closely with the production and design team to ensure our luxury fashion products meet the highest standard of quality, aesthetics and market appeal.
The Role:
· To build a library and standardise accurate blocks and measurements for Really Wild customer and brand
· Manage QC checks and required actions with follow up procedures to factories and management team
· Investigate returns and report back to the RW team with improvements and action.
· Work with the design team on development and technical requirements/advise across new styles, fabrics, components and trims
· Demonstrate technical knowledge to support the quality of the brand
· Assist on compiling full tech packs for each style to issue to factories
· Manage fittings; cast and manage appropriate fit models, accurately log comments in the tech packs to issue to the factories
· Adhere to best practice sample process flow chart
· Understand fabric technical specifications/ test reports and wash care requirements
· Liaise with factories in a professional and productive manner
· Adhere to the critical path and communicate daily with factories
· Keep up to date with Industry knowledge regarding fits and measurements
· Collaborate with the design team on development of product samples co-ordinating with pattern makers and other relevant parties to achieve desired aesthetics and fit
· Work with the team on garment, fabric and lab dip approvals and build strong relationships with the suppliers and internal teams and stakeholders
· Working across all product categories; softs, tailoring, knitwear and accessories.
The Candidate:
· Holds a recognised qualification in garment design technology or similar related field
· At least 5 years experience in a similar role is essential
· Knowledge of garment construction manufacture process, methods and textile properties are required
· Ability to solve problems that arise during product development process
· Confident, clear and professional communicator
· Ability to work independently, prioritise workload
· Accuracy and exceptional attention to detail
· Knowledge of and experience in working with premium womenswear is essential, along with the understanding of premium country clothing.
· Ability to update and work within the critical path
· Excel, numeracy and organisational skills
· CAD knowledge and design software is desirable
· Self-motivated and a team player
· Willing to travel to locations within the UK and within Europe when required.
