Annular Group provides advanced network solutions to SME and mid‑size commercial markets. The company is experiencing rapid growth and has newly created roles for fiber and cabling engineers.
Location: Warrington, Cheshire with UK wide travel.
Salary: £24,000 – £38,000 per year (depending on level) plus an additional £4,000 per year on average for travel time. Overtime options available.
Employment type: Contract.
Seniority level: Entry level (Roles range from Junior through to Senior).
Responsibilities
* Structured cabling installations – Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, telephony, and fibre optics.
* Assume a lead role on multi‑personnel installations when required.
* Prepare and understand site‑specific risk assessments as needed.
* Complete all project‑related engineering documentation as required.
* Serve as the point of contact and liaison with customers during installation when acting as lead.
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience and understanding of structured network cabling and installation.
* Flexible working hours and travel commitments.
* Full and valid UK driving licence.
* Desirable: Aim2Learn Certification.
* Desirable: City & Guilds Fibre Optic Cabling (Internal or External) and City & Guilds Copper Cabling (Internal) or equivalent.
