We are looking to expand our fabrication team at our Port Clarence facility. This role is subject to pre-employment checks, including BPSS security clearance and alcohol and drug screening, as part of Wilton Engineerings onboarding process. Due to the nature of work scopes all applicants must be UK Nationals. All applicants should have completed a recognised apprenticeship. Main Responsibilities Reading & Understanding procedures relevant to work Ensuring correct pre task requirements are in place Aware of material to be welded, correct consumable to be used, pre heat required and measured Ensuring all welds are within limits required Clean weld area on completion ready for acceptance by inspection / NDT Familiar with arc-air gouging. Guiding overhead cranes and hoists where trained for moving and assembling plates Responsible for cable management & keeping work area clean and tidy.
