About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in supporting Microsoft 365 environments and a passion for solving technical issues efficiently and professionally.
You'll be responsible for providing day-to-day support to our clients, resolving technical issues related to Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Intranets and the Power Platform. You'll also have opportunities to contribute to internal projects and improve support processes.
We're open to discussing part-time work (3 or 4 days per week) and welcome applications from candidates who meet most, but not necessarily all, of the requirements.
Requirements
* 1–2 years of experience in a similar IT support role
* Experience supporting users in Microsoft 365 environments
* Familiarity with SharePoint and basic Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate)
* Excellent customer-facing and communication skills
* Proven ability to work collaboratively within an IT team
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Desirable
* Experience with SharePoint migrations
* Understanding of intranet platforms
* Exposure to project-based IT work or infrastructure upgrades
Key Responsibilities
User Support
* Take ownership of support tickets and ensure timely resolution
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and general IT systems
* Communicate effectively with users to understand issues and provide clear solutions
* Escalate complex issues when necessary and follow through to resolution
Documentation
* Maintain accurate records of support tickets and resolutions
* Create and update internal documentation and user guides for common issues
Collaboration
* Work closely with other IT team members and departments to ensure smooth operations
* Participate in internal projects to improve IT systems and processes
Continuous Improvement
* Stay up to date with the latest developments in Microsoft 365 and IT support best practices
* Identify opportunities to improve support workflows and user experience

Location: Hybrid
You'll be based in Central Scotland, with two days per week (or 40% prorata) in our Stirling office. Occasional travel to client sites may be required (currently less than once a month).
