Vehicle Technician – Newcastle
Salary: £33,000 – £43,000 basic plus bonus (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, Saturday mornings on a rota

We are currently recruiting for a highly skilled and qualified Vehicle Technician to join a respected main dealership in Newcastle. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician to step into a senior position within a supportive and forward‑thinking team. Key Responsibilities
* Perform complex diagnostics and high‑level mechanical and electrical repairs
* Mentor junior technicians and apprentices
* Ensure all work complies with manufacturer and industry standards
* Collaborate with the service and workshop teams to maintain productivity
* Stay up to date with the latest technical developments and procedures
Requirements
* Master Technician accreditation (or working towards it)
* NVQ Level 3 / IMI or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
* Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities
* Full UK driving licence
* Previous main dealership experience preferred
