The Management Accountant (Part Qualified) will play a key role in overseeing and processing the day-to-day financial transactions and processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to join a small, high-performing Finance team within a fast-growing organisation, during an exciting phase of Psychiatry-UK’s development. This is a home-based role (applicants must reside in the UK), though occasional travel may be required for face-to-face meetings at various locations within the UK. As our Management Accountant (Part Qualified), you will: Assist with day-to-day accounts related operations of the Finance Department. Prepare group monthly management accounts from trial balance. Ensure all control account balances are reconciled monthly. Produce overhead accruals and prepayments for all entities. Ensure all group recharges are accurately processed each month. Assist in implementing budgeting to the group. Prepare quarterly VAT return for approval. Liaise with and provide information to external auditor. Analyse project expenditure and communicate this with project managers. Assist the Financial Controller with the preparation of overhead analysis, to include the use of excel to present information. Assist in the year end audit and annual work in progress verification exercise. Complete ad hoc project work as directed by the Financial Controller. Ensure all financial accounts and reporting are undertaken in a timely, accurate manner and in accordance with accounting standards and Group policies. Assist with budgets and cash-flow and monitor these highlighting any risks and assisting the business in using their financial resources effectively. To succeed as our Management Accountant (Part Qualified), you will: Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously while remaining calm under pressure. You will be able to accurately follow instructions while also using initiative and will show meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of their work. Strong time management and organisational skills are essential, including the ability to plan, prioritise, and effectively multi-task. The role requires sound problem-solving abilities and a consistent commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of data and information, always acting with integrity. Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA Strong administration skills with proven experience. Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
