The Fife Learning Disability service has exciting opportunities for registered Learning Disability or Mental Health nurses to join them. There are full & part time posts available across the inpatient service, covering Assessment and Treatment, Forensic and Bespoke care. You will be responsible for assessing and supporting the health needs of people with a learning disability under the supervision and guidance a Senior Nurse. The purpose of this post is to carry out. Risk assessment Mental health assessment Multidisciplinary planning and treatment implementation The minimum requirements Relevant 1st level nursing qualification Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities or Registered Mental Health nurse Knowledge of current legal frameworks to support inpatient care delivery Ability to communicate with a wide range of individuals and groups. Highly motivated and conscientious. Experience of care planning for complex health care needs. Ability to work flexibly to meet the demands of the Service. NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
