We are currently seeking an expert individual to join this team in the role of Recovery & Resolution Planning Manager.
Global Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) is a function of Global Treasury and is led by the Head of Group Recovery and Resolution Planning. The team is the custodian of the Group Recovery and Resolution Strategy, which includes the management of our capabilities to recover in a severe stress and if unsuccessful our ability to be resolved and restructured in an orderly way.
In this role, you will:
• Support the RRP Strategy and Testing team, within the Group RRP Office. The purpose of this role is to help support testing of RRP capabilities, review and provide supporting materials for Global RRP submissions and help the team with ongoing regulatory engagement.
• Support testing of RRP capabilities.
• Help review and challenge the testing of RRP capabilities maintained within businesses and functions.
• Help support the ongoing regulatory engagement with both the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and Bank of England (BoE).
• Work collaboratively to support the wider deliverables of the Group RRP Office.
• Support the development of relevant RRP materials to be shared and reviewed through RRP and wider Global Treasury governance.
• Provide cover for management where required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
• RRP technical knowledge, experience and skills, including an understanding of the UK RRP regulatory landscape.
• Experience of testing RRP capabilities, including running fire drills and simulation exercises with senior management.
• Experience of engaging with UK and European regulatory authorities on RRP topics.
• Demonstrable expertise in planning and organisation of a diverse and varied portfolio of complex tasks.
• Collaborative, engaging, credible and analytical; being able to bring the numbers to life.
• Experience of building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders (all levels of seniority).
The base location for this role will be London and with a hybrid working pattern.
