As a Senior Surveyor, you'll play a key role in supporting our property advisory services for both audit and non-audit clients. Here's what you'll do:
* Review tangible assets (plant and machinery) and property (real estate) valuations with UK audit teams, challenging key assumptions.
* Lead meetings with audit teams, clients, and advisors to ensure clear communication and collaboration.
* Deliver reports assessing risk and reasonableness, ensuring accuracy and insight.
* Support business growth through tenders, proposals, and pitches.
* Provide market insights and training on property and fixed assets to audit teams.
* Assist with non-audit advisory projects including valuations, capital allowances, tax, due diligence, and strategic reviews.
What You'll Bring:
* MRICS qualification with RICS Registered Valuer status.
* Valuation experience across various asset classes, from commercial vehicles to renewable energy installations.
* Knowledge of RICS Valuation Standards, IVS, and UK National Supplement.
* Proficiency in valuation methods and technical issues.
* Understanding of financial reporting requirements for fixed assets.
* Strong time management, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
* Some real estate knowledge beneficial for client reporting.
