About the Role
Join our friendly Helsby team as an Accounts Administrator and play a vital part in keeping our financial processes running smoothly. In this role, you'll support the day-to-day management of supplier invoices, help resolve queries, process finance claims, reconcile remittances and supplier statements, and maintain accurate financial records.
You'll also assist with basic profit tracking, petty cash management, and monitoring supplier-related customer cases, working closely with our Operations team and accountants.
This role is perfect for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with numbers. Previous experience in finance or accounts is helpful, but candidates with strong administrative, data processing, or operational skills who are process-driven and proactive can also excel. Full training in our systems and processes will be provided, so you can grow confidently into the role.
Full-time and part-time hours are available.
Salary and Hours
* Salary: £25,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time)
* Full-time: 37.5 hours per week

What You'll Do
* Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
* Assist with resolving invoice queries and obtaining credits
* Prepare invoices for the accountant's scheduled pay runs
* Support the reconciliation of remittance advice and supplier statements
* Assist with finance claims and ensure records are up to date
* Maintain basic profit tracking spreadsheets
* Support daily email inbox management for accounts queries
* Help monitor petty cash and ensure cash reconciliation
* Work with accountants to support weekly pay runs
* Assist with monitoring supplier-related customer cases

* Some previous accounts or finance administration experience
