Part Time Accounts Assistant - 2 Days per Week (Tuesday and Thursday) - Witham - Permanent Opportunity Salary: £15.00 per hour Start Date: Mid March We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Accounts Assistant to join a busy Finance team on a two day per week basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional seeking a flexible, part time position, with the potential for additional hours in the future. The Role Credit control, including professionally chasing overdue accounts Assisting with sales ledger management, raising invoices and allocating payments Managing shared accounts mailboxes and responding promptly to queries Setting up bank payments Matching purchase orders to delivery notes Matching fuel receipts to invoices Processing credit notes and bulk processing tasks Checking drivers corporate card statements Checking bank accounts Identifying and chasing missing invoices Managing petty cash Sending customer statements Providing general administrative support to the Finance team The Person Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or finance administration role is essential Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Able to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively Confident communicator, both written and verbal Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team This role will initially be two days per week, Tuesday and Thursday, with the potential to increase hours over time.
