Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fresh Seafood Trader and Yield Controller, located in North East Lincolnshire. The role involves managing the procurement and distribution of fresh seafood, monitoring inventory levels, negotiating with suppliers and buyers, and ensuring timely deliveries. Additional responsibilities include overseeing yield control processes, analyzing costs and margins, and ensuring compliance with food safety and industry regulations. Building strong relationships with stakeholders and contributing to effective supply chain management will also be a key part of this role.
Qualifications
* Experience in procurement, supplier negotiation, and inventory management within the fresh seafood or food trading industry.
* Knowledge of yield control processes, cost analysis, and food safety regulations.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Attention to detail, organizational skills, and an ability to work under tight deadlines.
* Proficiency in relevant software and tools for inventory management and data analysis is an advantage.
* Experience in a trading or similar role, preferably in the food or seafood sector, is desirable.
* A degree or equivalent qualification in business, supply chain management, food science, or a related field is advantageous.
